I am a scientist studying the ecology and management of grassland systems, from semi-natural grasslands grazed by domestic or wild herbivores to sown forage leys.
My particular research interests involve:
- Spatial heterogeneity in grazed grasslands
- Multi-scale nutrient transfer through grazing animals
- Driving forces of plant diversity and species interactions in managed grassland
- Conservation and restoration of species-rich grasslands
I am working in the Grassland Science group of the University of Goettingen.
